Upon feeling Luna's hand slap hers, she felt as though she had made a sort of friend. When Luna turned away and looked around, Natsuki decided to do the same. There were many people fighting wolves. One looked a little familia-

"A-about. What about..." She seemed to be struggling. For now though, Natsuki had patience. She smiled. "H-how w-would you like to, uh, split the l-loot..."

Natsuki hesitated for a moment. "Well... we can each have a health crystal. Those restore health, yes? And... the wolf pelts... weeeeeeeeell..." She shrugged, looking to the sky as she thought, tapping her chin with the hand that wasn't balancing the hammer on the ground. "I don't know what I'd do with them. Would you like them all?"

For a second she was stunned. She didn't know what to do in this situation, she hadn't expected that to happen. Here she was, about to offer everything to Fuji, and she instead was offering it in return. Without the ability to speak, she nodded and did the item split herself.

Then suddenly two more names appeared in the party.

Nanashi and Razor.

They were bordered in a red color.

"Who?!" she yelped, and suddenly the gates to the town slammed shut. They were in a bad situation, now. A group of six wolves jumped at them, and Luna quickly grabbed Fuji and pulled her toward the scary man.

Why is she doing this. WHY is she doing this?!

Another person appeared next to them, and he smiled lightly.

"They're all level two, this is bad." he said, and her eyes widened slightly.

He's kind of cute.

Blush.

He had a fair complexion and dark green eyes, which had an orange tint on the inner edges, that matched with his scraggly, long brown hair. He was about the same height as Fuji, and he carried a one-handed straight sword.

"So, you use... Throwing Picks?" he asked, and he gave a light smile.

She turned away to hide her blushing.

"Stay behind the two who use War-hammers. It seems that the wolves are all attacking from that direct, and there are only six over here. I'll try to get three of them so that you three can get the others." he says, and then he waits for the opportune moment. Fuji and the other hammer user would have to go in and grab their attention, and then Razor would dash past them and take three of them out of their aggro and into his.

Solid plan, but what makes him think he can deal with three of them?

Nanashi was surprised  to see that he was shoved into a party with three others. He saw the wolves spawn. He made his way to the party. When he arrived he over heard bits of the conversation between the other guy and the small girl. He's going to lead three away? Who...the hell...DOES HE THINK I AM?

His party members were on the other side of the wolves. He ran straight through them stopping just before the wolves, he slid, which made a satisfying grinding noise, and swung upwards. The head of the hammer met a wolves chin dead on, dealing 24(+1). The momentum of the swing knocked the wolf back, but made him lose balance. He began to fall but caught himself when the hammer hit the ground, forcing himself back up. Catching his footing, he pulled the hammer over his head before shifting his weight, shifting momentum to the left. It hit one wolf in its shoulder blade 35(+1) while hitting another ones leg for 34(+1). They were both knocked down. Not bad.

His hammer kept going pulling him back from the wolves. I need to get used to this things weight. Multiple veins in his neck were flaring from being both pissed off and the assault he had just launched.

The other three wolves countered, all biting him. 23, 16, 24.

There was a moment of calm. The birds chirped cheerfully, the fields swayed in the wind, and Luna split the loot among them. Natsuki glanced around nervously, however. Something felt off.

Then, two more names appeared in the party window. "Oops, did I do somethi-" The gates to town slammed shut and howls filled the air. Six... wolves...? What's going on? Her eyes widened in surprise and she was suddenly being dragged in the direction of a guy, one that was now in our group. Upon closer inspection, she saw that it was the crazy man. Nanashi.

"They're all level two, this is bad." Another random boy said nearby. Razor. He was also in the group. Fuyu's hand was noticeably warmer before she let go. She smiled to herself. DoeswiddleFuyuhavacwuuuush?

She had to admit that he wasn't bad looking. Well, his avatar, at least.

"So, you use... Throwing Picks?" he asked Fuyu, and he gave a light smile. Fuyu turned away. Natsuki had to hold back a laugh.

She turned back to the wolves, unhooked her hammer, and prepared for a fight. Her gold eyes blazed with energy and excitement. Who would've thought a video game could be this fun? This action-filled?

"Stay behind the two who use War-hammers. It seems that the wolves are all attacking from that direct, and there are only six over here. I'll try to get three of them so that you three can get the others." Razor commanded. She glanced at him. Why is he taking on three? She thought. She then turned her attention back to the wolves, which bounded towards them.

"Sounds like a plan, if you think you can handle it..." She said. Then, out of the blue, Craz-... Nanashi shot forwards into the crowd of wolves and began to clobber them with his hammer. "H-hey, what're you doing!?" She protested. She stepped forward a couple steps, sizing up his situation. Would it be a brave, heroic thing to jump in and help him? Or would they go on to kill them both? They were all level one, after all...

Or were they?

Luna watched Nanashi rush in, and then saw a shadow of Razor as he followed past. The wolves got to Nanashi before Razor could do anything, and then he used a skill that she could only guess as howl. Three of the wolves, the ones who had attacked Nanashi, changed targets and went to attack him.

For a second, she thought that she should help, and then she watched him. He dodged so fluently, yet he never attacked. Was he waiting for an attack? She watched with interest and slowly forgot about the situation she was in.

He landed a hit dealing 133!(+5) damage. A crit?! And what was that damage?! She dropped her picks in shock at the damage. He was wielding a sword that had a furred hilt. Must be comfortable. She looked at the blade and saw that it was shaped strangely... It kind of reminded her of an ulna. She shook her head and started to focus, nudging Fuji to get her into the game.

She blushed furiously after that, though. She really shouldn't have nudged her. Why did she do that?! Her aim was off, and a pick flew right past Nanashi and into a wolf for 9(+1) damage. She needed to keep going. Quickly she started pulling picks out and throwing them one at a time as she moved sideways, and after seven more picks she dealt 74(+7) more damage to the wolf. She didn't like her damage, but she couldn't really do much about it...

Yet.

Hopefully.

Sadness.

Stop.

Think.

It's just a game. You don't have to worry when it's just a game.

However, there are people.

She hasn't tried to communicate with people for six years.

At school, she was a stuttering mess.

She needed to get over this!

She couldn't.

Her mouth opened.

Then it closed.

The wolf she hit took another 8 damage.

Nanashi heard a howl and the wolves that were once surrounding him were gone. He looked to where they were running seeing Razor kiting them. He swung and nearly killed a wolf. He hit for that much?! How'd he do that? What level is he? Is he hiding shit from us? I'm gonna have to...FUCKIN KILL-calm down...calm down. He closed his eyes for a moment to regulate his breathing. When he opened them he saw a pick fly by. The hell? He looked and it was in a wolf. He was surprised to see several other picks hit the wolf again. 

That girl is good. I can't let myself be shown up by the little twerp.

He went after the wolf with all of Fuyu picks in them. He swung his hammer in a wide horizontal arc, hitting the wolf knee dealing 35(+1). The hit made the wolf stumble. The weight from the swing pulled him to the side a bit. Once his hammer was stationary he flipped his hammer so that the head was no longer facing behind him but facing the wolf. He pulled on his hammer, forcing it to move from its resting place, into the jugular of the wolf dealing 31(+1). 


The wolf shattered into shiny bits.

Knowing he couldn't keep taking unnecessary damage he fell back behind Fuji. He was finally calming down. He looked at her from the corner of his eyes. He wanted to see what she could do.

Natsuki watched, impressed, as Razor kited three of the six wolves away from Nanashi and hit one of them with immense damage. "Wait, what level are you, Razor?" She asked, examining his sword with curiosity and confusion. He couldn't be their level. She then glanced back to the other wolves. Nanashi was handling the other three pretty well, though he looked like he was about to keel over from a heart attack.

Suddenly she felt a nudge and looked back surprised to see that it was Fuyu. Upon making eye contact she blushed. Pretending not to notice, Natsuki side-stepped about, trying to line up a hit. Meanwhile, Fuyu was making picks fly. She watched as the wolves' health depleted with Nanashi's blows. Okay, my turn.

Just as Nanashi retreated behind her, Natsuki went in running at the nearest wolf. It had turned its head to her and growled.

"Be nice!" She scolded with a grin, swinging her hammer up to the left and knocking its head to the side. Its legs buckled as it felt the weight of 35(+1). The momentum of the hammer spun her around, but she went with its movement. She spun around with grace before bringing the hammer back down upon the same wolf, earning a howl (37(+1)). She wheeled backwards when she saw that the other wolf was racing over to her out of the corner of her eye. As it jumped up, her eyes widened. Could she hit it? Dodge it?

She lunged to the side, her body beginning to rotate, her thin hands holding tightly to the rod of her hammer. Its momentum gave her a little more distance. She managed to get out of its way but it simply landed and proceeded to run at her with great speed. "Oh dear..." (27). Its teeth sunk into her bare leg, leaving red pixel-y wounds. "Oof..." She hummed, her face slightly red with embarrassment. I could've dodged that... Yet, I just got bit in front of all these people!

She kicked it off with her other leg, which sent it back a little ways. She then ran up to it and swung into its ribcage with an evident passion. "There!" (32(+1)) It once again moved to the side, bumping into the other wolf who had been waiting to pounce, too. She breathed in deeply and swept the hammer horizontally at the wolf's midsection, this time with more force. It dealt 24(+1) damage to the wolf she whammed but successfully knocked both to the side.

Luna watched as they did their own thing, and she silently cheered in her mind as one of the wolves was defeated. A moment later and Nanashi was out of combat with Fuji switching. Luna looked to Razor, and once again she was distracted. He had just dashed into the three wolves while his sword glowed, and he hit the wolf to deal 58(+11) damage, killing the wolf he attacked. He then jumped to the left while spinning backwards. The pommel of his hilt smashed into a wolf as it pounced at him, and it was knocked out of the way as he kicked the ground and launched into another swing at the other wolf. The attack landed and he did 43(+5) damage.

Luna looked back to Fuji and opened her menu. She didn't need Extended Weight Limit, and so she instead switched it with One-handed Dagger. After doing this, she pulled out four Throwing Picks and her dagger, and then she ran forward into the battle with Fuji. Fuji swung her hammer, and the momentum brought it to where if Luna kept running she'd be hit by it.

Perfect.

Luna slid under the hammer, and the moment she was clear of it she launched herself forward with a charged swing on the lower health wolf. 13(+1) damage, good enough. She slashed again and again for 24(+2) damage. The other wolf got into stance, and she saw it ready to pounce.

To her left.

A swing to the right and she'll be safe.

The wolf she was targeting is at her right.

She swung again for 11(+1) damage, but still got clawed for 21 damage, and bounced herself away and toward Razor as she threw her four picks, one at a time, at the wolf she just hit. 47(+4).

Perfect. Though she maybe should have targeted the other wolf to stop its pounce at Fuji. Oh well.

4 more damage from the tick, and it is now dead.

She joined Razor while leaving the last one for Fuji and Nanashi. However, the moment she got there she saw him swing quickly at the already damaged wolf, twice, for 92(+10). He then moved without concern out of the attack from the second wolf and attacked the damaged wolf again for 66(+5) damage.

The wolf died.

He worked way too fast.

She took out two more throwing picks and threw them at the wolf. They hit for 17(+2) damage.

The wolf pounced for Razor but he already had a sword skill charged, and he slashed it out of the air for 38(+11) damage.

2 more damage from the tick.

"Nanashi, this one's for you!" Razor yelled as he rushed in again and kicked the wolf at Nanashi. He charged another attack and ran in after it. If Nanashi caught on, the wolf would get smashed between two attacks. One from Nanashi and one from Razor.

Razor's attack would deal 98!(+11) damage, but would hit first due to its speed, meaning Nanashi would get the kill.

He watched as everyone did their thing. Some of it looked kind of sloppy but was done well. Soon there were only 2 wolves left. Then he heard his name.

He heard a smacking sound. He looked and a wolf was rocketing into the air. He saw razor going for it and took the challenge. IT'S A RACE! He jumped into the air, his hammer above his head, and reached the wolf just after Razor had. He saw the slash but it wasn't dead just yet. 

His hammer came crashing down for 29(+1). The wolf flew into two pieces. It was satisfying. However, he put to much force into the swing. It pushed Razor down just a smidgen and Nanashi began doing flips, unable to go against his hammers momentum. 

Luck was on his side as he was falling towards the last wolf. He decided to stop resisting and instead put what force he could behind his hammer. He twirled slightly faster with a trail of light behind his hammer. He came down just behind the wolf, hammer colliding with it for 25(+2) , sending the wolf forwards. 

His twirling came to an end when he landed on his back. Owwww...

Fuyu did some remarkable things, dodging Natsuki's attacks. The boys were off fighting their own battle. Fuyu managed to kill one wolf, but as much as she'd like to congratulate her new friend, there was another wolf pouncing at her. It was still a good distance away. She stepped backwards and swung her hammer back as though she was about to hit the wolf like it was a baseball. But suddenly, Nanashi flew into it and sent it flying right towards her.

"Wh-"

She gripped onto the pole of her hammer tightly and focused upon the task ahead of her. She brought the hammer over her head and suddenly felt a tingle. Huh? She noticed a yellow glow coating her hammer as she brought it down on the skull of the wolf, knocking it flat onto the ground. 29(+2) damage. That's it? She thought, eyebrows furrowing. I have to kill something! I'll be the only one that didn't!

Before the wolf could rise, she hit the wolf once more in the same manner. 33(+2). comeoncomeoncomeon She tensed her muscles and put all her strength into swinging the hammer like a golf club. It knocked the wolf to the side and dealt 29(+1) damage. The wolf burst into pixels. She panted for a moment, eyes glancing at the other group members. She smiled widely and put her hands up in victory. That is, until her hammer almost fell upon her head. Then she put one hand down to balance it.

Razor hadn't let his guard down yet as another pack of wolves entered the area, and one of them was larger than the others. Level 4 Elite.

"Okay, new plan. Me and Nanashi take on the five while Fuji and Fuyu focus on the elite. Keep your head on or it'll kill you. Trust me, I almost died twice to them." he said, and he gripped his sword tighter. Was this the enemy he got it from? The name of the enemy was Alpha Wolf.

Three of its lackeys were level two, and two of them level three. Razor pushed Fuji back a little and glanced at Nanashi, almost as though he were sizing him up.

"Whoever kills the most gets a drink bought for them by the other, a little competition between me and you." he says, grinning.

He was getting Nanashi into a fighting spirit, though that was an odd way to do it. Rile him up?

She ignored this and pulled Fuji away from the group as she threw five picks consecutively at the Alpha wolf. The first three hit for 30(+3) damage, and then it looked at her and pounced out of the way of the other two. She looked at Fuji and then realized that she was still pulling her with her.

"S-sorry!" she stuttered, and she was suddenly a mess. She dropped her dagger in the midst of it and ended up turning red from embarrassment just as the Alpha Wolf pounced at her.

Meanwhile, Razor dashed in with a simple under-hand swing at one of the wolves and a well placed kick at another. He did 63(+6) damage to the wolf, and noticed that they were parted lightly. He would have to create an opening, or wait for Nanashi to create one.

Just as he was thinking, the same wolf he damaged pounced at him. Just barely in time he swung his sword into the wolf for 110!(+6) damage, and seeing an opportunity he rushed at the wolf with another swing dealing 40(+6). He was satisfied to see the wolf already dead, but when he turned his head two wolves were already pouncing for him. One hit him for 46 before he could stop it, and the second one was in mid-air.

"Oh no..."

Natsuki's moment of victory didn't last long. More wolves came along. She glared at them as Razor spoke. "Okay, new plan. Me and Nanashi take on the five while Fuji and Fuyu focus on the elite. Keep your head on or it'll kill you. Trust me, I almost died twice to them."

Comforting. "Okaaaaaaay." She said, her voice confident. Razor suddenly pushed her back and she gave him a dirty look. He seemed to be sizing up Nanashi.

"Whoever kills the most gets a drink bought for them by the other, a little competition between me and you." He said with a smile. Natsuki glanced at Nanashi. From what she could tell, this kind of thing sort of pissed him off and made him become a bit careless. That could be a good thing or a bad thing.

Fuyu was suddenly pulling at her again, this time towards the elite wolf. She's getting good with those pick thingies. The wolf then proceeded to dodge two of them and Natsuki frowned. She could see the difficulty level change already.

Ignoring Fuyu's stuttering words, she saw that the wolf was pouncing at her and that she had dropped her dagger. Notgoodnotgood She rushed forward swung the hammer horizontally towards the wolf's mouth. 36(+2). It hit just right, and stopped the wolf's leap. However, it didn't get pushed very far and she and Fuyu were still in a pretty bad position. She lifted her hammer over her head and just as she was going to swing down, the wolf scratched her. 82. "No!" She yelped, bringing the hammer down on its hip. 35(+2)

Maybe I should've put more points into endurance... She thought as she turned and ran a ways backwards, hoping Fuyu would follow suit.

Nanashi relaxed for a moment, bad move. Another six wolves appeared. Most of them were stronger than before. One of them was much larger than the rest. Is that the leader...I want it. He motioned towards it but heard razors voice.

"Whoever kills the most gets a drink bought for them by the other, a little competition between me and you."

He was torn on what to do. I want that one but he challenged me. He challenged me. He challenged me. He began moving towards the other wolves. Veins in his neck were pulsing again. His blood felt like it was boiling. Calm down...calm...down...DON’T CALM DOWN!

He dashed towards the wolves. Golf swing. 38(+2) was done to one wolf and it was sent flying. The nearest wolf jumped at him, mouth open. Nanshi wasn’t feeling the weight of his hammer anymore. He changed the direction of the hammer, the head of it fitting perfectly in the wolf’s mouth. It took 41(+2) before being sent away, landing near the other wolf. That’s two.

He ran, full sprint, towards another wolf. He mimicked razor and kicked the wolf in the gut. The wolf was mid air. With his hammer over his head he pulled out a sword skill. The brought down the hammer while the wolf was still ascending, dealing 39(+3). The wolf changed direction and collided with the ground at an angle, bouncing away before sliding next to the other two. He shifted the position of his hands and threw his hammer like a spear, it colliding with the next wolf dealing no damage but stilling knocking it towards the other three.

His hammer moved farther than the wolf it had collided with before stopping, in the middle of all four wolves, handle facing skyward. DON'T STOP YET. He kept moving, he needed to keep whatever battle momentum he had, until he was at his hammer. The wolves all got up. He grabbed the handle and moved downwards. Two wolves attacked him, one using bite and the other using it's claws to deal 61 total damage.

All he saw was pixelated marks on him. He kept going regardless. He bent his knees and twirled around, hammer extended. He spun around once, his feet sliding across the ground. He kept spinning from not being able to stop his hammer. By the time he did he had spun halfway around again. The attack hit the two wolves in front of him twice while hitting the ones in the back once. The first wolf took 61(+4), second wolf 67(+4), third 32(+2), and fourth 30(+2). All four wolves had the feet paws knocked out from under them. They began to fall. Nanashi twisted to his right, hammer extending out wards at an angle. He hit the first for 29(+2) and the second for 36(+2) sending them both into the air. The swing kept going missing the third wolf but hitting the fourth for 29(+2). The tossed his hammer at them, missing completely. With it still twirling he vaulted off of the third wolf to catch up to his hammer. He caught onto it but not at the handle. He was holding it just below the head. This can't stop me here. He performed a plunging attack, a glowing trail behind it, knocking both of them downwards dealing 40(+3) to both. His hammer hit the ground creating a cloud of dust.

Razor watched as Nanashi did work, and he did it well. Though, he wasn't finishing off the wolves that he was fighting, so Razor would just have to eventually wait it out. Suddenly he got his opening, and with a quick dash in he unloaded a flurry of four swings, one on each of the wolves, for 29(+6), 59(+6), 53(+6), and 61(+6) respectively. Two of them died, and the lower health of them took aggro to him while the other pounced for Nanashi. Razor swung forward with a sword skill dealing 144!(+11) damage. His eyes widened at the crit; he had never hit for so high before, must have been his maximum damage. He then turned his attention to the last of the little ones, Nanashi should be able to take care of it, but he would be there just in case.

Maybe he'd get another steal.

Meanwhile, Luna quickly fumbled on the ground to get her dagger as she pulled out some more throwing picks. She started throwing them. Five hits, two misses, and 52(+5) damage. She had regained herself with those hits, and the wolf lunged at her just as she was getting ready to pull out some more picks. Without any other choice she jumped forward at it and slashed it three times for 27(+3) damage, but she also took 76 damage herself. In the midst of it, she managed to pull out three more throwing picks that she threw at it when they parted, and they dealt 31(+3) damage. Perfect. She pulled out another and threw it, but the wolf dodged and it when flying right by Fuji's ear. Luna gasped and started to mumble her apologies, stuttering along the way. Again, the wolf lunged for her, and she took yet another hit for 71 damage.

She watched as Fuyu battled with the oversized wolf. She had managed to reclaim her dagger, but she wasn't yet retreating.

"Careful!" Natsuki called out, though the ending of the word fizzled out when she saw Fuyu get damaged. "...nyah..." She kept on throwing, however, and was surprised when a pick buzzed by her head. Natsuki sighed lightly and began running at the wolf. Fuyu took another hit, but this one would be avenged.

She focused on the wolf with all her capacity, weighed her hammer in her hands, and took in a deep breath. She swung it up above her head, spun around on her feet, and brought her hammer into the wolf's side in a stream of yellow. 36(+3). I'm doing a bit more damage... She thought with a smile. Before the wolf could turn around, she swung the hammer horizontally into its side once more (36(+2)). Should she be feeling tired?

The wolf glared at her over its shoulder, rage in its eyes. "You're running low, Fuyu." She said, hinting that she should get back to a ranged position.

The wolf swung around and lunged at Natsuki, mouth open wide. She jumped to the side, throwing her hammer's weight in the direction to give her more distance. She nearly fell over but caught herself with the hammer's head. She quickly regained her balance, turned back towards the wolf, and caught the pouncing wolf's jaw in another swing. 31(+2).

Almost all the wolves that Nanashi attacked were killed by razor. He tightened his grip on his hammer. The sound of leather being squished together and skin stretching to it's limits filled the air.  He was more or less calm at first. However, slowly...slowly he felt things twisting inside of him. Blood was rushing through his veins at insane speeds. His heart was beating faster than it had since his high school days. His face twisted. Razor had flipped a switch that hadn't been touched in a while. 

He sprinted forward, whatever fatigue that plagued him before faded away into non-existence. The only normal wolf that was left lunged at him, mouth wide open. Unlike before he didn't hit it with his hammer. He instead headbutted it, his eyes level with it's top row of teeth. It fell to the ground and dragged his hammer over to it. The sounds of steel dragging against the ground filled the air around me. When he was within arms reach of the wolf his vision was blurred with a red filter over everything. He was done. Nothing would calm him down now. he lifted his hammer into the air and swung it in rapid succession, not pausing for fatigue. He wolf struggled against the blows but ultimately took a total of 167(+10). It burst into shiny pixels but Nanashi still kept swinging where the wolf was. After 7 extra swings he stopped. 

He turned his attention to the only wolf left. He made his way over to that one next. I want it. He charged it when he was 7 meters away from it. He moved like an animal. The only thing signalling he was human was his shape. The wolf clawed at him a couple of times but he dodged each one, all be it just barely. A scream battle cry left his mouth as he was in combat. Holding his hammer more like a staff he twirled it. It was much slower than an actual stuff but it was enough. First blow hit the Alpha's stomach, just barely lifting it off of the ground. It racted fast and tried to counter with a bite. Another twirl of his hammer thwarted it's attempt, the head of the hammer crashing into it's nape. Nanashi unleased of flurry of circular spins and flips, every attack the hammer hitting somewhere else on the wolf. A couple with the ground. He might have been attacking with power and speed but his accuracy was less than stellar. With every strike a surge was sent through his body...they felt electric. 5 hits totaled up to  174(+10). However, the alpha got a hit in when he lost his balance. It bit him for 88 damage. 

After sustaining the damage he fell back. He wanted to go farther but his legs refused to move once he stopped. Thousands of thoughts shot through his head while he was immobilized.
